Hi! My name is Siobhan (she/her). I am a white, cis-gender, queer, neurodivergent, and chronically ill therapist. I am passionate about providing accessible, collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed assessments, advocacy, and therapeutic support.
I am LGBTQIA+ inclusive and affirming and I work from an intersectional, abolitionist, anti-racist, and anti-capitalist framework. I adjust my therapeutic approach to the current needs and goals of each person.
I have extensive experience working in crisis based fields including an urgent mental health program for college students and a therapeutic program in New York City’s family policing system. I also have experience working with Autistic and Intellectually Disabled adults, to support them in identifying their own unique goals and desires in building and maintaining friendships while respecting their social communication differences, agency, autonomy, and access needs.
If your goals are related to exploring or accommodating your access needs, exploring your identity, strengthening your self-advocacy skills, addressing trauma, complex trauma, family relationships or family separation, depression, emotional dysregulation, major life transitions, self-injury, or suicidal ideation, we might be a good fit.
If you think this is the case, please reach out to schedule a free consultation.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Siobhan
