Frequently Asked Questions

Is therapy right for me?

Anyone can benefit from therapy when they are seeing a provider who is a good fit for them! Therapy is a space where you can explore your emotions, feelings and life situations openly, in a safe and supportive environment, without judgement or critique.

What should I expect when scheduling sessions?

Most often sessions are scheduled on a weekly basis, however, I also see some individuals 2x per week based on their current stressors and life situations. Sessions are typically 45-50 minutes long and we meet virtually on a HIPAA compliant platform.

Do you offer crisis sessions or additional sessions as needed?

Yes! I am available for urgent or crisis based sessions and welcome the individuals that I see on an ongoing basis to reach out to me for additional support as needed.

Do you have a limit to the number of sessions you offer?

No -- I work with individuals for as long as people are interested, and benefiting, from sessions! Some people I work with intend for therapy to be short-term, to address specific concerns or life stressors, while others view therapy as a life-long commitment which requires ongoing sessions.

Are you currently available to meet with new people? What is your availability?

I am not currently accepting new clients. However, please email me if you would like to join a waitlist.

What insurance do you accept?

I accept the following insurance providers:

I am licensed to see individuals in New York and New Jersey.

How much does therapy cost per session if you don't take my insurance or I don't want to use insurance?

My out of pocket cost for therapy ranges from $15 to $150 per session.

I aim to make therapy affordable for all. I especially encourage individuals who are BIPOC, queer, disabled, on a fixed income, single-parents or otherwise systemically marginalized to inquire about sliding scale pricing. I am happy to work with everyone to determine a cost for sessions that meets their budget.

How do I schedule a session or a free consultation?

Wonderful, I am so glad that you are interested in scheduling a session! Click here to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see if we are a good fit for one another. During the consultation you'll be asked to share what you are hoping to get out of therapy and why you are seeking therapy at this time. You'll also have the opportunity to ask me any questions you have!
